Magnepress^® Electromagnetic Metal Forming System Installed at PMF Industries Inc., Williamsport, PA

In late January, IAP Research installed a 112.5 KJ Magnepress^® System at the PMF Industries Inc. facility in Williamsport, PA.  PMF is a  fabricator of stainless steel components for the food service, pharmaceutical and aerospace industries.  PMF specializes in flow forming of stainless steel and other advanced aerospace alloys.   PMF plans to use the Magnepress^® System to assemble an aluminum/stainless evaporator component for a customer who builds commercial soft serve ice cream dispensers.   IAP and PMF Industries will be working closely to develop additional applications for the Magnepress^® System.
